Volunteer Program

Through the Volunteer Program, the Museum is committed to making the Whistler Museum and Archives a fun, community oriented place where volunteers can develop their skills and interests. These interests could include a desire to be more knowledgeable about Whistler and its past, the community, or the operation of the museum and archive facilities. We are here to help you learn.

Why Volunteer?

  • Learn about Whistler's history; contribute to its future
  • Revive old friendships; make new friends
  • Rediscover old objects; discover new objects
  • Use your current skills; develop new ones
  • Be involved in community events

Job descriptions for various volunteer roles are available from the museum. Some volunteer positions are: Board of Trustees, Fundraising Events, Programming and Personnel Committees, Special Events, and Daily Operations. Have something special in mind? Give us a call!
